Hello Penhurst Swim Families,

We are excited to announce that the summer swim team season is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to kick off another fun and memorable summer at the Penhurst pool!

Head Coach - Zack Hobby

We are thrilled to introduce our new Head Coach for the upcoming season, Zack Hobby. Zack is currently the Head Swim and Dive Coach at Sprayberry High School and comes to our team with a wealth of swimming experience and knowledge. Along with his strong coaching background, Zack brings a fun, upbeat personality that perfectly fits the spirit of summer swim and our Penhurst team. We are confident he will help our swimmers grow while keeping the season exciting and enjoyable for everyone. Coach Zack’s bio can be found on the website here. Welcome Zack!

Coach Interviews – Now Scheduling

We are currently looking to fill additional coaching positions for the 2025–2026 season.
All interested coaches should reach out to [email protected] to let us know you are interested in coaching by February 27^th.

Coach Zack and the team coordinators will be interviewing candidates on March 1st at the Penhurst Clubhouse. You must contact us in advance to set up an interview time.

Open Coordinator Positions

We are also looking for parent volunteers to serve as coordinators to help make this summer a success. These roles are essential to keeping our season organized, fun, and running smoothly. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to [email protected].

Available coordinator positions include:

• Concessions Coordinators
• Sponsorship Coordinators
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Patti-Wilder Coordinators
• End of Season Party Coordinators

Whether you’re a returning family or new to the team, we would love your help. Many of these roles can be shared and do not require daily commitments. We are more than happy to help you learn more about these positions and help along the way. Please reach out by March 10^th if you are interested. A coordinator meeting will be held late March to kick off the season and begin planning.
