Hello Penhurst Families!

WE DID IT... BACK-TO-BACK PATTI WILDER COBB COUNTY CHAMPIONS!

What an incredible weekend for the Penhurst Predators! We are so excited to announce that Penhurst brought home the 1st Place Team Trophy at the Patti Wilder State Qualifying Meet! We could not be more proud of every single swimmer who represented our team over the three-day meet.

This championship was truly a team effort. We had record-breaking relay performances, multiple Top 3 relay finishes, and numerous Top 10 individual finishes. Every swimmer who competed contributed to our team's 1st Place finish. Whether you scored points, swam a personal best, or cheered on your teammates, you played a part in this championship. That is what makes this team so special!

A HUGE thank you also goes out to our amazing coaching staff. They spent three long, hot days on deck cheering, encouraging, celebrating, swimming and supporting every swimmer. Despite the heat and exhaustion, they never stopped smiling or believing in our team. Their energy and dedication make such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.

Patti Wilder Awards

The Cobb County Swim League provides medals to the Top 3 individual finishers and relay teams, along with ribbons for other top-place finishes.

If the awards are ready for coordinators to pick up tomorrow, we will distribute them at our End of Season Party. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend, please make arrangements with a friend or neighbor to pick up your swimmer's awards. If that isn't possible, send us an email at [email protected], and we'll be happy to arrange another pickup time.

Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to bring juice boxes! We are still looking for a few volunteers to bring cut-up watermelon and help with set-up and clean-up.

We'll be serving pizza, watermelon, cake, water, sodas, and juice. If your family has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know. Also, don't forget your swimsuits! The party will mostly be a fun swim, and parents and siblings are welcome to join in too. We'll also pause the fun to hand out our annual paper plate awards—always a favorite part of the evening!

Want the chance to pie one of our amazing coaches? Purchase tickets by sending $5 per ticket via Venmo @penhurstpredators. Please include your swimmer's name in the Venmo notes. The more tickets you buy, the higher your chances are of being selected to pie a coach!

Please note that tickets are for a chance to pie a coach —not everyone who purchases a ticket will get a turn. Once the whipped cream runs out, the fun is over!
